Management
Prof. Ilan Shallom, CEO & Founder
Prof. Shallom has over 25 years of experience in the development of advanced speech processing algorithms and their implementation on DSP chips. He is Chief Technical Director and DSP Group Manager of the Chips and Modules Business unit at AudioCodes Ltd. Prior to that he was the Director of the Speech processing Group at DSP Telecommunications Ltd. Prof. Shallom holds several patents, and has co-Authored more than 30 publications covering robust speech recognition, speech enhancement for VoIP applications and Voice quality measures. He has a Ph.D. in Analysis of Non-Stationary signals with Applications to Speech and speaker recognition from Ben-Gurion University. He is a visitor professor, head of the “Speech and Video Processing Lab” in the Electrical and Computers department at Ben-Gurion.
Mr. Leon Eting, Vice President Sales & Marketing
Leon Eting has more than 20 years of experience in the high-tech market with a focus on the telecom and automotive industry. Mr. Eting was the CEO and founder of HOTAS, a start-up company that developed, manufactured and sold voice activated wireless communication products for the automotive market. Mr. Eting was a fighter pilot in the Israeli Air Force. He holds a B.Sc. in Physics and Computer Science from Bar-Ilan University, Israel, and an MBA from INSEAD Business School (Fontainebleau, France).
Mr. Yishai Gil, Vice President R&D
Mr. Gil has over 10 years of experience in the development of voice solutions. He was DSP Team Leader responsible for development of VoIP and FoIP technologies for Enhanced RISC and DSP processors at AudioCodes Ltd. Prior to that he was a software engineer for the development of audio solutions at Intel DSPC. He has a M.Sc. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Ben-Gurion University. His M.Sc. thesis dealt with Packet Loss Concealment based on sinusoidal modeling of the speech signal.
